Lovely al fresco dining on the main street in Modica. Big terrace and attentive staff. Menu is as far from the sea as it gets. Rabbit, stews, pulses and soups are the specialties here surprisingly lovely to eat even in the summer heat - of course helped by copious servings of the house wine. Both red and white are lovely but if you are after something more robust the wine list is great.

Not sure why this place is so well reviewed, however it was recommended by quite a few locals. Maybe it’s a nostalgia thing for local sicilians. The food is super simple, so much so that it tastes almost like it was thrown together from the two remaining cans on Passata and pasta you had in the cupboard. Would say that it is way overpriced and very boring for anyone looking to experience some exciting and tasty Sicilian food. Would not usually leave a review like this, but there is other amazing places to eat in Modica, so have a look around.

A beautiful and cosy restaurant with welcoming and friendly waiters (most, if not all speak English). The food is delicious and presented beautifully. This is a great restaurant to eat in, especially in the cold winter days.

Slow Food\ in Modica. You can get all the Modica staples out here, but what you want to try out is the \Slow Food\ items. Mind you, be a wee bit careful - Modica is more into heavy and meat-based items, so be sure to ask the waiter *what* you're getting first!

Great menu of traditional old-world Sicilian dishes. Very nice outdoor seating area. Friendly staff.
