UPD: the university contacted me, apologized for delay and shared the updates in very professional manner. Thank you MODUL! Sorry to put this online, but I think its useful to other students too. I am glad I chose MU for my studies. -- I run into a problem with my student visa - I could not receive it for 2 months and university was keep saying it is still being processed with no timeline whatsoever. Should I even start my studies here if it takes ages to do the visa?
This University is terrible, probably one of the worst in the city... the location itself is questionable for a university campus, since it’s located in JLT out of all places, and in an a corporate building filled with offices and you don’t even get the real feeling of a real college campus. The majority of the lecturers seem very unexperienced, especially the brand new Egyptian man who teaches accounting, as he comes across uncultured and does not know how to teach in an environment of students who don’t learn the same. It looks very much like they find teachers off the street or online, since the majority of such come across unofficial. Lastly, the university is starting to have allot more “Fobs” as students than international students, so it’s harder to communicate with them.
I love the University. It is so pleasantly different than the rest. The professors always challenge for new ideas and help you find what you are looking for in business, economics, philosophy etc. So happy to be part of the MODUL.
Dear Modul Dubai, thanks for the amazing opportunities offered to us as MODULians. My last 3 years with MODUL Dubai was amazing. I dont have to mention the comments of haters, dismissed students with poor academic performance and terminated ex members with no moral but ego. The dogs bark, but the caravan goes on (الكلاب تنبح والقافلة تسير). All the best! M.O.
I love the atmosphere here! One of the best unis in Dubai.
I highly recommend that everyone should contact MU Vienna FIRST before signing a contract as a student or employee at MU Dubai...
