I have been blessed with the experience of working at Momentum for over 3 years. There truly are no words to describe the incredible dedication and care each and every staff member gives every single day! To work at a nursing home isn't just a job, it is a calling...and it manifests itself through the hard work and compassion of the staff. The atmosphere at Momentum is always incredibly positive. For our patients, Momentum at South Bay is more than just a rehab center/nursing home...it is a family. Each and every patient at Momentum is treated like family from the very second they arrive. In short Momentum is a shining beacon of hope and excellence, that contains no shortage of heroic and noble staff members ready to give it their all for the patients. During this difficult year of Covid-19, every worker has stepped up to the plate and has given 110%. Even during this dark year, Momentum has shown its true worth and brilliance. It is an inspiring site to witness, and I am so proud to be a part of the Momentum family. Years ago before I was an employee here, my grandfather was a patient at Momentum, and there was no shortage of excellent care, comfort and compassion for him. Every department goes to such great lengths to make all the patients comfortable and happy, and the sacrifices made are beyond the ability to count. BEST JOB I EVER HAD!!!

Everybody has been terrific. The majority of staff at Momentum have been extremely helpful, and have been there to help me with everything during my stay. Friends of mine that have been patients here in the past also had nothing but nice things to say about the staff and the services provided at Momentum across all department. PT and OT are great, they are always on time, and they push me to get better everyday. If I ever need anything from the kitchen, kitchen staff are quick to get me whatever I request. Recreation visits me everyday to see if I need anything for my room, and housekeeping keep the room very clean and comfortable.

Staff and nurses are great. Housekeeping does a decent job of keeping rooms clean. PT and OT staff do a wonderful job. Food is a little too salty from time to time, and breakfast is rarely warm. Eggs are cold. I wish they had a higher chair in the room that they have in hospital rooms, a chair that can better support the neck.

I’ve been a patient at Momentum over 5 years now. My wife Josephine has been a patient here as well , longer than me. Wonderful staff particularly nursing staff. Food from kitchen is good, but could use some improvements, particularly the temperate of the meals. Nurses and doctors are very good, I have lots of freedom and opportunities to visit my wife, visit the bakery for snacks and relax outside when there is nice weather in the spring and summer time. Productive and energetic staff here, positivity in the building is big thumbs up in my opinion.
