Do not go there on weekends, golden week or high season with many local and international tourists. If you do, be prepare to be sardine packed into a small cable car which will make you regret spending 1800 return ticket to get up there. Over crowded cable car makes the trip annoying as you won’t be able to enjoy the views and taking pictures. Bring water, hat, sunscreen, snacks and wear hiking outfit. It’s a long way up and down hill to the Godly shrines. Also becareful if you have bee allergy and there venomous snakes in the mountain.

If you are an experienced mountaineer who relishes opportunities to run up hills and has an insufferable 26.2 sticker on the back of your Rav 4 back home than by all means avoid this modern convenience. But if you're like me and want to conserve some energy while bragging you funiculared an island then spend the extra bucks. Besides, it's a grueling 30 minute trudge to the mountain top from the highest station, so you'll earn the shortcut.
They have free shuttle buses leaving every 15 - 20 minutes , but it might be better if you can hike up ! The view is good , Air is so fresh and you can find lots of deers you when climb up ! Love it here !
They sold ice cream here! A nice treat after walk.
The fare is kind of expensive (1000 one way) but the views at the top are well worth the money. If you have time, I would recommend hiking to the top of the mountain to get the experience of seeing the mountain at ground level as well. The views from the gondola lifts are very picturesque as well.
