Not too reasonable pricing of menus. Quality of food does not meet the expectation of visitors. Simple \grilled fishes\ were burnt when there was NO main chef in the kitchen during lunch hours. What was worse was to claim ed-eyed\ fishes were fresh. Sorry for this poor rating, but I wish we could try again to change this experience, if we ever visit this town.

I'm not one to write negative reviews, and I hate to see local businesses fail, however I need to make an exception. The food here was nothing short of a catastrophe. Out of all the fantastic places you can eat in this area, this must be one of the most overpriced and underwhelming. For the same price you can eat infinitely better, almost anywhere else in Puglia. We began with the 'mad octopus' starter. This 8 part dish was the culinary equivalent of watching paint dry. The rose shaped pasta that my wife had was an overcomplicated and ultimately tasteless dish. I ate a pasta with burrata and pesto, which frankly was an unmitigated disaster. Poorly cooked pasta and bland pesto. So deeply disappointing. This place could pass for an Italian restaurant in some far flung northern European hamlet. It might even be met with some local enthusiasm. However, to serve this kind of poorly constructed, bored, and frankly low effort food in the heart of Monopoli is insulting to the great culinary traditions that define Southern Italy. I wish this restaurant no ill will, but I hope that they take a long hard look at their menu, as currently it is woefully deficient.

The best fish restaurant in Apulia. Nice place near port. We visit them always during staying in Monopoly.
