One of the favorite Taiwanese restaurants for the locals here. Many of my Taiwanese friends who visit LA would make a special trip to come here to eat. During the pandemic, they only offer take out service. To facilitate the ordering process, you can order online or call in your order. They offer all of my favorite Taiwanese food here especially breakfast items. The rice rolls are excellent and authentic. I particularly like their sesame flatbread with eggs. This breakfast item is crispy and nutritious. I also like their Hot soy milk. For many Chinese, this is a morning stable drink. Every time I come here, I have to have a soy milk drink. Yi MEI has done a good job on this drink. Fried dough goes well with the soy milk drink too. Lunch dishes are good too. They have probably one of the best noodles in town. My favorite is their pig feet noodle. The pig feet are tender and flavorful. The soup is heavenly and reminds me of the good food I had when I visited Taiwan. Set lunch plates are also offered during lunch time. The plates include many famous Taiwanese dishes such as minced pork rice and Taiwanese sausages rice. For those of you want to have their frozen item, they have frozen pork dumplings and pot stickers. In the refrigerator, you can get cold drinks as well.

Very disappointed. The pork chop was over fried, 90% bone and 10% meat, the fried dumpling had barely anything inside and taste horribly. For 30 lunch I spent here, I can easily get a much better meal somewhere else. I will not buy from here again.
Best fantuan (rice rolls) in SGV and I have tried all the other ones. The rice dough (you tiao) is still crunchy when I received the order and the whole roll is not drenched in oil. Make sure you add pickles! Another item that is on my must eat list is the daikon cake. They pan fry it on order so it is still crispy. Also the best tasting in thr SGV! Always ask for the garlic sauce and the chili sauce. They go super well with the daikon cakes. They are in Monrovia so it is pretty far of a drive. Please consider opening one more towards the 10 freeway!
Very Dirty sanitation, no covid process, does not use sanitizer for dishes, does not wear gloves when cooking, lots of cross contamination, mold growing in top of hood over the pot the use to steam the xao lo bao, DIRTY,
