Just moved into an area where monster was our only option so because of the super low reviews, we weren't expecting much. Texted them on several different occasions and heard back right away, if not then later that day. The person we dealt with in our area (Winchester TN office) was more than helpful on every occasion! He helped us out even when the office hours were not in effect and he was there. And like I mentioned earlier, he was great in responding to my texts. The service isn't bad either, although we came from a place with 10x the speed, it is what it is and it's been good for tv streaming (we cut the cord so we're 100% streaming). The only thing is there are times when my husband has problems gaming on Xbox, but we knew that wouldn't be good before we signed up. Very happy with the excellent service provided by the person in our area.

Monster doesn’t have the capability to keep up with the small number of people using their service in a rural area. They charge premium price (80 per month) for 2008 speeds (25 mbps on the best day). During peak hours, if you’re lucky enough to have the service work at all, it outputs 3 mbps at best. With cable and fiber expanding at the current rate, Monster won’t survive the next two years.

I called and set up an installation date 3 weeks out from the date I called. This was the soonest option. I was told they cannot guarantee I could get service at our house. I asked if they could come test before the 3 weeks so I can find another service if they cannot provide it. I was told that was not an “efficient” way of business and they would only test why they are there for install. They don’t make multiple trips. Came out to install today, we cannot get their service. Now we have sat for 3 weeks when we could have been finding another provider. This is “efficient” for you but “inefficient” for potential customers. Yes I can’t get your service now so what does it matter you’ve upset me since I’m not a customer? One day when we move and I can get your service, I will know to chose not to.

We've been with Monster for a lot of years. We have no other option, honestly. They cannot provide us their top speed, but it is better than having no service. Everything was good...until service went down this time. No service people to replace bad hardware (Monster's) from Friday night until sometime Monday is unacceptable in 2020. We're going to start looking around again... Two days after initial 3 star review, just reduced it to two. It's now almost 2 PM on Wednesday. We've been down since Friday night. NO WEEKEND SERVICE PEOPLE!!! I'm sure my lack of acceptance of their not working weekends didn't help anything... And I KNOW they'll pay for the use of my iPhone's hotspot for the work I need to do (we don't have data on our phones because we use, ahem, our computers and tablets).

It's literally so horrible. If you call them saying you have a problem, they say everything is perfect on their end. It couldn't possibly be since all it takes is one internet speed test to prove you wrong. Another thing is that when a tower goes out, they couldn't care less. I'm currently having to use my data to type this, because our tower has been out well over 24 hours when it hasn't rain or stormed at all in the last week. It is pointlessly expensive for the service you get, and I wouldn't suggest using this company.
