Nice area, friendly hosts, very helpful ;) Vintage bedrooms with nice wooden furniture, renovated bathroom is nice and clean, steady flow of hot water.

Lovely winery and restaurant; not surprised they have almost only five star reviews - they really deserve it! Process of winemaking and legal things around that were so well explained; we did not even expect that and are really thankfull for it! Lunch after the wine tour was amazing too - it was worth booking it and we paid for everything at the very end.

We had a great stay at Podere Il Coco,an extremely pleasant family run farm near Montalcino. Stefano is a great host who really made it special for us by introducing us to great Italian food and wine. It's been more than a year but I still remember our stay fondly and think about it often. Can't recommend enough.

Stopped for lunch on our way from Florence to Amalfi. The winery is set on a beautiful hill just south of Montalcino. It felt like a family gathering for lunch. The food was delicious and the wine was wonderful. There we no more than 15 at our table. We walked the winery after lunch, and were even allowed to taste some grapes right off the vine in total privacy. I'll be ordering wine from their website for sure.
