Recently, I had the good fortune of finding Montana Fire Design to service and repair my two fireplace inserts in my home. As a newly implanted resident of Missoula I have discovered that in many cases trying to get service work done on your older home is very difficult and in some cases contractors are to busy to even honor their appointments. Montana Fire design was such a relief when it came to addressing my insert problems. I cant remember if I have ever had a better service experience. Cynthia was caring and great to work with. Both Joel and Shawn had to be the most professional and articulate contractors I've ever seen.

From start to finish, my experience with Montana Fire Design was extraordinary. I first looked into a gas insert last spring. I visited the Montana Fire Design showroom, and Norma helped me determine that a Mendota would be an ideal choice. Rather than trying to hard sell me at that time, she mentioned that Mendota offers a promotion each fall (worth around 400) and suggested I wait until then buy. I returned to Montana Fire Design with my wife in September, and Norma and Cynthia spent more than an hour with us, helping us choose through all the options and ensuring we got just exactly what we wanted. We also needed a new hearth, and Cynthia put us in touch with George at Freestone Concrete Works, who fabricated and installed a beautiful concrete hearth. When Joel and his assistant (wish I could remember his name) came to install the insert, Joel determined that some of the bricks on the top of our chimney needed to be repointed. He went and got mortar and repointed them for us on the spot and charged us a paltry sum. That may be the best act of customer service I have ever received. Joel and his assistant installed the insert with superior care and attention to detail. We have had the insert now for about six months, and we love it. One of the best home-improvement purchases we have ever made. It looks absolutely beautiful. I cannot recommend Montana Fire Design highly enough.

He went above and beyond to make sure everything about our new fireplace was perfect. Highly recommend this great business!
