The food was fantastic! Our waiter did his best to explain the full Italian menu in English which was very helpful! He also made suggestions on our first dish as we knew we wanted the steak as the second. They bring the steak our on a flat iron to slice and finish to your liking. I would highly recommend.

Lovely spot with a nice outdoor seating
Authentic (real) Italian food. I have been to this place about four times now, I discovered it 6 years ago when I visited Saturnia. It has now become a reason for me to visit Tuscany at least once year . Every dish I have eaten (fiorentina, pasta and dessert) here is delicious and I like the fact that the owner try to talk to every guest and explain to foreigners like me how to pair the dishes .

Make a reservation. We got stuck in the back of a very warm and very busy dining room. One waiter spoke good English and did his best in the heat of the moment to help us understand the Italian-only menu. I'm usually comfortable with Italian foods but this menu contained foods I have never encountered. Our failsafe tourist meals were average. The Italian speakers all seemed to order a huge Tuscan steak that was prepared tableside. It looked and smelled delicious. They all looked very happy. I'd suggest to order that rather than pasta.
