I cannot recommend this place enough, the staff is amazing and the doctor is honest, compassionate and fair. They will help you figure out your options. Early intervention for my dog's melanomas has made it so he no longer needs surgery to remove them, a huge emotional and financial relief!
Five stars are not enough! Five years ago our 8-year old Lab was diagnosed with a tumor on his rectum. One oncologist suggested a 3500 cat scan. I took him to Dr. Arteaga who gave him 3-4 chemo treatments which made him cancer-free for five years. I recall that all treatments added up to less than 1000. A year ago it appeared that it might have come back so we went back to Dr. Arteaga. The was no return of the cancer, just some other age-related issues which she treated. She is an excellent vet who thinks outside the box in treating her patients.She is very reasonable in what she charges. My only complaint is that she is not a general practice vet. I wish I could take my other dogs to her for all their veterinary needs.
Dr. Arteaga and her staff are AMAZING! I have nothing but positive things to say about them and the way they care for my fur baby! The next day after treatment, I got a call from her staff asking how my guy was doing and if we needed anything! They put you at ease during this difficult time and answer all of your questions!

The most gracious and genial people work here, and they are wonderful with the pets and their owners! On top of that, they put our Liza's cancer into remission.
