First time coming here and spotted it after parking. The atmosphere is amazing. The life music is perfect and the artwork throughout the place looks fantastic. The food is spectacular. We had the lamp lollipops, the bay of pines burger, and the chicken pesto and everything was delicious down to the last drop. This is an amazing place to visit and dine.

Great service !! Food was exceptional , salad was fresh and plentiful make sure you try the Fruits of the Sea appetizer topped with sherry cream sauce served in a puff pastry shell . They have a full bar wine and beer selection is awesome. Can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.

I hate to have to leave a bad review for this place because the staff was very kind. However my food was really terrible! I was excited to try this place since it claims to be organic and sustainable. I ordered pasta with shrimp. It was completely flavorless. Not bland, flavorless. The pasta was overcooked to a mush. The shrimp were not properly cleaned and deveined, overcooked and rubbery with no taste. They claim the seafood is sustainable however this shrimp seemed like it was commercially farmed for chain restaurants as again it was flavorless. The sauce was a flavorless white that added nothing to the dish. If they had cooked with at least a pinch of salt the dish wouldn't have been so awful. I threw it away as it was takeout and gave up on dinner for the evening.

We visited thanks to the Monterey Jazz festival, as their summer Jazz Camp held an evening concert there. The festival filled the room to beyond capacity, so it would be unfair to say anything but positive comments for the staff who worked hard to make a full house happy. We had several appetizers, the salads were superb. Can't speak for the main courses. The music was followed by a salsa dance group. The decor is very interesting, and in between songs we found ourselves perusing the room floor to ceiling to inspect the curious fresco and 3D art from whales to pirate ships. Ahoy!

Great place! Wonderful atmosphere, food was terrific. If you are anywhere near Fisherman's Wharf, head over a few blocks for a great meal.

The music was great! Even though it was a little hard to find (you have to go up a hidden elevator off the street to a second floor) the atmosphere was refreshing and lively. The food was tasty, I had the seafood over linguini special, and ordered some bread, which came with some wine vinnegrette, olive oil and minced garlic. It was a memorable time, and I enjoyed singing along with the band. I highly recommend it. A very nice place.

Food is good. I got a smaller version of the ship sinker burger. The service was really slow and constantly had to remind the server for everything.

I would of put 2 1/2 because... - it was very cold inside. - the meats (filet mignon and New York steak) were chewy. But... - the portions were a good size (not to big) - the vegetables and mashed potatoes were not bad The service was not bad (although there was only one person waiting and she did not remember if she had taken are order and then who had ordered what) but it was pretty slow.
