I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr Gollogly. Prior to my appointment, he prepared a video in which he flipped through my MRI scans, providing commentary which was very clear, concise and helpful, so I had an idea of what to expect. He is wonderful to work with - great bedside manner. He's a smart guy and very present, attentive and knowledgeable, which put me at ease and feeling confident regarding my care. He also has a great sense of humor, which scores big points with me. The facility itself is really impressive. One glassed off room looks like a NASA launch center. Everyone was kind and helpful. The woman who did my intake, who's name I don't remember, deserves a special mention as well, since she was also very gracious and welcoming.

I have NEVER been so impressed with a complex medical services institution. I will tell ANYONE about my experience with Dr. Scott Anderson at Monterey Spine and Joint. I feel blessed to have landed in his care.

Great first experience. Office staff was courteous and efficient. X-ray tech was very professional and easy to work with, as was Dr.Smith. Very thorough, caring and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this center!

The doctors and staff here are so professional and courteous! My latest visit today was with Dr. Bernstein and his medical assistant Dawn. I want to give Dawn an affirmation! She is quick and shows genuine concern! I’ve been coming here for many years! I am pleasantly surprised that the care by the different providers are consistent from the front office to the back! Keep up the good work MSJ!

Was supposed to have surgery last year due to unmitigated circumstances such as covid and other factors I had to wait a year before getting in to have my surgery done the only painful point of my experience was the wait. Surgery went very well I'm just sad it didn't happen a year ago. Thank you Monterey Spine and Joint for easing a lot of pain .

I found the staff courteous and immediately responsive. My nurse practitioner, James Darden, answered every possible question I could have and spent as much time with me as I needed. A great experience!

Absolute care! I absolutely love this place. I had a spinal injury for seven years and I was fortunate enough to be recommended to Dr. Mark Howard. Dr. Howard and his staff are absolutely amazing. They are such caring people and they made me feel like I was listening to and like I was cared for at all times. The surgery was an amazing success! And all of the care afterwards was phenomenal. I recovered completely and I am without pain. That’s super important for me to note because previously, I had been in extreme pain for seven years. It’s now been two years since my spinal surgery with Dr. Howard and it has been one of the best decisions of my life and I cannot be more grateful to them :)

This is a huge practice, but very well run (except that their phone service has been nonfunctional on several occasions). Staff is friendly and courteous. Dr. Wong is very businesslike - not a warm, hand-holding kind of doctor. But he seems competent and gets through his appointments with a clear plan of action. My ultra-sound directed elbow cortisone shot was nearly painless, and I've heard from others that it can be excruciating. He seems highly skilled, and that's what counts for me. He is doing a cortisone epidural in my spine at the surgery center on Thursday, and I have confidence it will go smoothly. A feeling of confidence and positive attitude is extremely important for a good outcome from any invasive procedure.
