This place is a HUGE disappointment. I used to go here years ago and loved it, I was in Monterey visiting and decided I’d support and go get my haircut here. I scheduled on a Monday and thought I was good to go. The day before my appointment I checked and it showed that they were closed. I called the shop to confirm and got no answer but in there OWN voicemail recording they say the hours and even say they are closed Monday. I left a voicemail saying I’m not sure why they let me schedule if they were closed and to call me back to reschedule. Monday morning comes and I get no call so I figure I will just call again later to schedule. 10am rolls around when my original appointment was, “G” calls me and asks where I am. I explain to him their website AND recording say they are closed so I did not show up. I say I am Marina and can leave but “G” says I will be too late and can only get a buzz cut. He was a complete loser on the phone and just pouting rude, mind you this is THEIR mistake. He just said “oh yeah well we haven’t changed our hours.” He proceeded to charge me 25 FOR A HAIRCUT THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Avoid “G” and pistons and pearls at all cost. Jerks, lazy, and greedy people. What was once a nice place now cost 50 for a simple cut - again DO NOT COME HERE

Great place with excellent owners and staff. A full service barbershop that can handle any task you put to them. Sit have a drink, relax, leave with a haircut you'll want to show off.
Be prepared to pay more but you get every cent worth. They are professional and provide a quality experience every time. This is when I want to pamper myself!
