This is a dream venue. The house is gorgeous and the view of the harbor from the balcony is so romantic. My husband and I were looking for a very particular dinner service: food stations and passed appetizers instead of a full sit-down dinner, making the reception feel like more casual and giving people more time to dance and have fun. Perry House offers something along those lines, but given the table setup we chose, people ended up sitting down for the entirety of dinnertime anyway, so if you're looking for the casual style I mentioned above, give your table setup a lot more thought. They offer a complimentary tasting to give you a sense of what the food is like - and it's amazing! Susan is very responsive and super helpful. Unfortunately, she was unable to be at my wedding, but she left me in very capable hands. The staff is incredibly nice and professional. My wedding was gorgeous. Everyone loved the food and it was the best party ever! Only downside: it's in a residential area so the party must end by 10 pm. You need to have an afterparty venue lined up because everyone will want to keep the party going!

An adorable place for a wedding! My friend got married here and she couldn't have picked a cuter spot. The staff were very accommodating, the food she selected from their catering menu was great, the bartenders were awesome, and every spot was a good spot for pictures. Located right in the busiest part of Monterey it's within walking distance of a ton of hotels and restaurants, making it easy for guests to get to and from.
Speaking as a guest to a wedding reception held at the Perry house, it's a great space for these types of events. The multilevel facility offers beautiful views of the ocean from the top floor and cozy garden level space complete with fire pits. Their staff were on top of their game too!
My fiancé and I had originally booked another venue for our wedding but had scheduled a tasting for our food at the Perry House. Right after walking in, we fell in love. The entire venue is so charming and we knew it would be perfect for our guests. Well, we actually ended up switching our venue to the Perry House and it was the best decision we made in the planning process. We are from the midwest so it was a destination wedding for us and Rosie was incredible throughout the whole process- kindly answering all of our emails, working with us on food allergies for our guests, decor suggestions etc. We were treated amazingly and they were so accommodating. We also worked with Beverly who coordinated all of our ceremony and a million other little things and we were so impressed by her as well. Every single staff member at the Perry House is so kind, professional and made our experience so amazing. It's been over a week and we are still receiving compliments on how great all of the staff was, and that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Our signature drinks were a huge hit as well. My fiancé and I work in the wedding industry so we have seen it all and I can truly say that this was the best service we've seen at a venue! It was the best day ever and it wouldn't have been possible without them. We couldn't recommend the Perry House more.
