St. Ben's in Monticello has an extraordinary history of providing high quality, personalized care. The entire team gets involved with the tenants, and they stay busy doing activities in large and small groups.

My grandma went here, originally had a senior living apartment then got moved to the memory care unit. Let me tell you this place is a total SCAM! She went from paying around 4500 a month in the senior apartment to now nearly 7000 a month in the memory care unit to give her pills twice a day and feed her. She fell multiple times, one fall lacerating her head and was found in a small pool of blood (she had been laying there without help or check ins for god knows how long), another fall which resulted in a hip fracture. It seems to me that they don't check in on her often, and when these things do happen, they refuse to give her any care and just call our family instead. They also call us often about the same pills she is taking, not knowing what to do with them after multiple times going over when she is supposed to take them. Each time I visited her they barely said a word to her when they come in to give her pills, no relationship with her whatsoever and it seems like they have zero compassion for the elderly people they have in that unit. We try to make simple conversation with the staff but they don't talk much. Not very friendly. I haven't seen any of the staff interacting with the elderly there, just feeding them and \doing their job\ they don't have any activities that I've seen there, just becoming sedentary. I feel so sorry that my grandma wasted the last year here and we are moving her to a different place. The quality of care versus what they charge the elderly here is a total scam. Stay away.

My mother has lived here for over 9 years. She loves her home and all the amenities they provide. I would recommend this facility for your elders care.

My mom has lived in the Village at St Ben's in Monticello, MN for over a year and she is having a wonderful experience. She has met the nicest people, and has the opportunity to do so many activities. She is part of the Book Club, the morning exercise group, church, and so much more. As her daughter, I was anxious about her move to a senior living community. We are so blessed that Mom choose St Benedicts. It is a good place.
