My husband has an auto business account with O Riley’s in Star City he has always been a good customer and done a lot of business with him well we had a tornado last Easter and was out of electricity for over a week and we called to see if Star City Store for a generator but they didn’t have one so I called around and Monticello said they had one paid good money for it and brought it for an elderly couple with no lights so they would have lights due to health issues and not wanting them to fall well it hasn’t even been a year and they only ran it once shut it off and we are in the middle of winter storm decided to check it for them and it would not crank and if we lose electricity during this winter storm they won’t have power cause no one would exchange it for it for them! Not like we wanted money back we just wanted an exchange I mean over 700 Dollars for it to run one time and I spoke to someone and the said it’s really up to the manager if they want to exchange it you would think they would instead of risking this lights going out and the elderly being without!

Update: The Warren, Arkansas branch honored my warranty in the end. Accordingly, I have updated my review here from a 1-Star to a 3-Star review. Otherwise, my comments regarding the Monticello branch stand unedited (see following). TERRIBLE PRODUCT TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY followed up by TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THREE STRIKES OREILLY's is NOT a good place to do business. Jamaal, the store manager, remained professional the entire time he was explaining to me their terrible warranty policy. I have an OReilly's branded battery with the date it was purchased sticker which of course went bad after only about 18 months of usage. They refused to exchange it for a working battery without a printed receipt. They pulled my purchase history from my telephone number (stupid way to keep track, phone numbers change, but I guess selling your info is most important) and can see I have purchased multiple batteries from them (I bought at least 4 in the last 5 years, should tell you something about their quality, these batteries regularly fail near the warranty period expiration, optimized the Weilbull distribution to give you as little as possible for your money no doubt). But they didn't (apparently) enter THIS battery purchase and after over 4 hours of my wife and I searching, we could not find this particular (nearly 2 year old) receipt. We did find a number of old O'Reilly's receipts, which were all faded, some to the point of being unreadable. If they are not going to keep their records of my purchases, why ask for my phone number every time? And if they expect customers to keep their original receipts, they should print them on something more permanent than thermal paper - which rarely lasts more than a year or two and can be obliterated in one hot afternoon on the dashboard. TERRIBLE PRODUCT TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY followed up by TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THREE STRIKES O'REILLY's is NOT a good place to do business.

Michelle has the rudest ugliest attitude when I literally just bought a 220.00 part from there. The woman literally tried to go back and forth with me because she yelled when I politely asked her “Was she ready” because she placed me on hold she replied yelling “I BEEN READY IM WAITING ON YOU” I was taking back by the unnecessary attitude and no longer wanted to inquire about the part. They’ve been working there for decades but honey you don’t own the store lose the attitude your working in customer service and I’ve received better customer service from the ATM Machine
