Don't visit!! It will be a bad experience The food was very bad, especially the vegetarian food, the place is very tight and the prices are damn expensive .. But the treatment was good and the food was nice only in shape. So it was good for pictures, but disgusting in taste .. I do not think this place has anything related to Mexico. Only high volume Spanish songs!!

The nachos were nice and the drinks were good. The vegetarian taco tasted horrible tho and the fries were okay. It’s not a bad place, it’s just not for me i guess.
El Chivito is a cosy little restaurant in a somewhat alternative street (amongst the cannabis shops and such), but the ambiance is great. We had the degustation menu for 2 persons, but it was way to small for us, especially compared to the price of 30. Aside from that, the food was very delicious. I can also recommend the caipirinha. Service however was slow, we had to explicitly ask if we could order after waiting for 10 mimutes while the waitress repeatedly walked past our table and ignoring us (next to us only 1 other table was occupied). When the plate was served, we still hadn't gotten any cutlery and had to ask again. In summary, great food in small portions with slower services.

Had the empanadas, which had nothing special; the fries were not good, oily and a bit sweet, whereas the beans were just bad. Salad had no seasoning

Amazing food and at a good prize. We had the Chivito de Leo and the Menu latino for sharing and a a couple of mojitos and Pisco sours to down it. The day shift chef, Salvador, came out and had a chat with us and he was super friendly, and his food was top notch. We'll definitely be back next time were in Montpellier.
