I love love love this tea house! The tea is superb, the food is lovely (do try a scone with clotted cream), the décor makes me feel like I'm in a different time period. The first time I went was with my husband. He took me there as a surprise for Valentines day. I was so enchanted I wanted only to stand and look and look and look. A perfect nook to get away from life for a few hours with close friends or you spouse or boyfriend or girlfriend.

Afternoon tea was great. There were 3 of us so we add some extras and it was great. Would love to visit again.

Cardinal Tearoom is not as fancy as the Ritz or Rosélys but it is an excellent value. Be sure to make a reservation as it is popular. Their sandwiches are all delicious and their Cardinal dessert changes every week. Their tea for 2 is very cute and the scones are freshly baked. Great variety of different teas to choose from. I will be back!

We really enjoyed having afternoon tea here on the weekend. The ambience was lovely - relaxed, cozy and quaint. The afternoon tea for 2 was a great deal at 20 each. We especially enjoyed the cucumber sandwich and scones (we did not like the deviled eggs, and the muffin was rather odd). This is a great place to come with your girlfriends, on a date or with your family! - 5/5 for environment, service and value - 4/5 for food

What a gem! I stumbled across this place completely by accident, and I’m so happy I did. The atmosphere and decor is amazing (I got some strong Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes vibes) and I really enjoyed my lemonade and blueberry scone with clotted cream. My friend and I spent a leisurely hour enjoying our food and drinks and flipping through the old books we found there. I’ll definitely be back in the future, hopefully for high tea!

A gem in the middle of mile end. I wasn’t convinced to enter at the beginning, but my wife insisted and I have to tell that the place is incredible. It’s a jump in the past with a touch the modem Montreal. Amazing tea options and great great desserts. If you are visiting mile end, you have to go.

Unique place. Great food, good price. Teas were nice but nothing extravagant in the taste. We were served in weird old porcelaine mugs and plates. Loved it. A must-eat in Montreal. Take the menu for 2.

I love this tearoom. There are perfect sandwiches and scones. Perfect tea served properly. Wonderful service. Once in a while a pianist entertains. Delightful!
