To be honest, I can't believe the owner other reviews are describing is the same guy I met at the place. He was the sweetest, asked me very politely and apologetically for me to wait so he could remake my matcha tea to perfection - as it was! The place is a charm itself, and the tea is so carefully well made, I felt cardamom taste in the matcha, which was a very nice touch. I tried both the coconut milk and soy milk matcha. Do recommend the soy one.

Cute place to study with plugs, matcha drinks, tea and dessert. It is slightly overpriced but the staff is nice and patient

Qabane À Thé has, hands down, the most amazing matcha latte I’ve ever tasted! I definitely recommend it!

Very cute place. The owner is hilarious! And love the drink may be a little bit over priced (6) for a drink but it was delicious.

It's really not what it used to be... I ordered an iced matcha lattee, the lady made a hot one instead. When I said that I ordered a cold one, she blended some ice and pour that hot drink in it? I didn't see her do it but my drink is warm... all liquid not slushy like it is supposed to be. Pretty disappointed, considering that with tax it is almost 7 for this.

I've been here a few times and really enjoyed it. I've had their matcha opera cake and their cookies which were both delicious. I love the density of their matcha opera. The flavour of the matcha blends so well with the chocolate layers! It's a must to try. The owner was kind enough to suggest to my friend what the freshest desserts were without her asking. She was about to take the brownies, but he suggested the cookies even if they were cheaper. It shows that he cares about his customers' experience. The place itself is super cozy and unique! It smells like fresh matcha, and the owner wants to keep it that way to create an ambiance. I asked him once if I could eat my soup before having my dessert, but he kindly explained that he didn't want to change the smell of the room, which I understand. I haven't stayed long for each of my visits because it's not the optimal place to study with a laptop. I prefer keeping it as a place to take a break! Really nice little shop!

This coffee shop is fantastic. So great we went twice. It’s very warm and welcoming, and the owner taught us a lot about teas/matcha. The desserts are also delicious, highly recommend and will be back a third time on the next trip to Montreal
