I love the Gryphon! My wife and I don't live near downtown anymore, but we make a special trip just to go there from time to time. Such a friendly place with a great selection of teas, and delicious scones. Ask for an English tea platter and spoil yourself.

Such a British taste experience for the afternoon tea lovers! I really loved it.
I found this place online as we were preparing for a weekend trip to Montreal. We made a reservation 24 hrs ahead of time for afternoon tea. We took the Metro from downtown and it was a quick ride to Monkland and a short walk from there. The place is very cozy and inviting. Diverse tea selection and the scones were amazing. This experience was one of the most memorable from our trip!
One of the best brunch places I've ever eaten at. Everything was fresh and homemade.
