First and last time I buy a fancy expensive jacket with promises of lifetime guarantee. Within the first week, the already very rigid and hard to zip zipper did not close anymore and after the first winter, the jacket was full of scuff marks even though I only wear it day to day instead of sports or outdoor work etc. I sent it to the cy for them to honor the guarantee (Montreal staff were very nice and professional) but the office returned the jacket under pretext it was dirty. I examined it carefully and then discovered that the white lining was coming through the black outer fabric layer through minuscule tears all over the jacket. Something also went wrong within the jacket so the corners of the bottom edge of the jacket are swelling up more and more like there were rocks in my pockets. The one advantage of this jacket that remains is its light weight so I'm keeping it to go get my mail and when I am done with that, I will give it to my cat. I'm certain he'll appreciate a 500 piece of worn fabric to rest on, he already loves lying in our dirty laundry.

Excellent customer service, had to wait a few minutes outside before going in just to ensure customer safety with all the covid precautions. Received great help from the employee at the door, to the knowledgeable sales woman on the floor to the cashier. It shows the employees really enjoy their work. i am very grateful for my shopping experience and to north face for offering Healthcare workers such a generous discount. Thank you! :)

Went to the North face store because as an essential workers we were getting a special discount. Unfortunately it’s wasn’t on everything and they didn’t have a lot of stock available nor in the size that I needed. But the customer service they were very nice and very helpful they did tell me they have been busy for quite some time because of the special that’s why they’re running low on stock.
