The restaurant is located inside Montreux Palace Hotel, in front of the lake. The waiters are very welcoming and the restaurant atmosphere is elegant and cozy. Once seated we have been welcomed by a second waiter that brought bread and different type of butters. We decided to share an appetizer and to take one meat and one fish dish. The appetizer was \foie gras\ and it was excellent with its own bread (crunchy outside and soft inside). The meat dish was a big pork chop and the fish dish was 3 big shrimps. We took a glass of wine (red for the meat and white for the fish) suggested by the waiter, they were really good. We took only coffee and we skipped dessert, but we saw the waiters preparing some crepe flambe and they looked amazing (including the flambe show, prepared at the table). If you are in Montreux and you are looking for a nice place to have lunch or dinner I would definitely considering this place.

Never thought that I, as a jaded New Yorker, would write a rave review of a hotel restaurant, but this is the best meal in Montreux. And I’ve spent a week eating really well. Sara was a super knowledgeable server and I loved her wine and food guidance. Again, I never thought I’d write this review when I love seeking out the little local boite! Have the steak, the Swiss wine and all the sides.
The food are innovative. We are very impressed by the appetizer foie gras and desert fruit carpaccio. Main course sirf and turf also excellent. The only disappointing food is grilled shrimp. Taste is good but one of the three shrimps in the course was not fresh! Based on the standard of this restaurant, I hope they can double check the freshness of seafood next time.

Ich wollte den Nachtisch meist überhaupt nicht mehr mit meinem Mann teilen. Unsereiner haben für die Zukunft daraus gelernt und werden nächstes Mal jeder eine Dessert bestellen.Die Bedienungen sind jedes Mal besonders reizend und sehr verbindlich. Das macht mir und meinen Mann bei jedem Besuch rundweg viel Freude.Ich fand das Gebot enorm sympathisch.Mein Mann und ich finden das Gasthaus passend für alle Veranstaltungen unwichtig ob mit Mann, Freunden oder Familie.
Première expérience un soir de marche de Noël au Mp’s Grill. Accueil vraiment attentionné et sympathique. Les cocktails sont très travaillés et fins, on nous fait attendre avec quelques olives et des cacahuètes mais surtout avec un gros pain maison encore chaud accompagné de deux beurres différents.. un régale. Nous avons choisis deux entrées chacun (ceviche / foie gras et poulpe/ ravioles au crevettes ) Tout était excellent, j’ai eu une préférence pour le ceviche qu’il t’ait superbement mariné. En plat nous avons choisis une côte de veau avec son risotto de pâtes au bolets, alors ça ! Un délice!!! La viande était parfaitement cuite et le risotto fondant. Je n’avais plus très faim après tout ces beaux plats mais j’ai quand même craqué pour du fromage en dessert et mon amis une crêpe flambée. Tout était vraiment excellent, certes c’est un budget mais allez y pour une occasion ça en vaut vraiment la peine !
