DeRae has been doing my hair for years. She’s amazing at what she does and I always leave a happy client. Her suite is adorable and very comfortable and we both wore masks the entire appointment which made me feel safe in these unprecedented times.

I brought in a Glam Seamless Halo and a Hidden Crown Topper to be toned, rooted, and cut. I also wanted the halo to be slightly lighted to match the topper.. I have hormonal Alopecia and saved to purchase these pieces. This is why they weren’t bought at the same time, so they didn’t match exactly. I told Carolyn that I had a job interview Monday that I was very excited about. I wanted the halo lightened to match the crown topper and a shadow root added, along with a cut with some long layers and curtain bangs. She seemed reluctant to lighten the halo, which was understandable to a degree. The part that made no sense was she didn’t offer to root or cut them. She kept laughing at me and asking me things like why didn’t you return them. She left the room with the hair pieces. When she returned embarrassed me even more, saying that my expensive hair pieces weren’t even human hair they were a mix with synthetic and poor quality human hair. She went on to say these hair companies but hair graded A-F and my pieces were probably sourced from some cheap Asian or Indian companies!!!! Due to this, she wouldn’t be able to work with the hair. I paid over 1600 for these pieces from extremely reputable companies, that guarantee the quality of their hair! Luckily, I have a friend who is a master stylist who did end up giving me exactly what I wanted later that evening. Also after reviewing my paper work that came with my pieces.They turned out my hair pieces were 100% Human Russian hair with the cuticle intact. The only thing plastic was the halo wire. I was treated very unprofessionally and felt like she just didn’t want my business. It’s a shame because the salon is beautiful and I am almost positive there are some amazing stylists there.
