Lighthouse lady

I went to UPS this last Sunday to mail off two large containers of cookies and candies to my Air Force nephews – one in Colorado and one in DC. Ronnie was on duty and assured me he would take care of getting them there safely. Both packages arrived Wednesday with not one cookie broken!!Being retired military myself the importance of receiving a package of cookies which are not crumbs is high on my list. Outstanding job Ronnie!

I’ve used them a few times. The last couple of times they were very confusing with how fast they were rushing through the process to ship, and it was very expensive. This last time I told them I didn’t need it fast or anything special just the basic shipping. It came out to 42 for about a pound package less than the size of a piece of paper. I questioned and said how expensive that seemed. They said it was because it’s still close to holidays (5 January). Then I went home and did an estimate for 2lb package to the same place and the UPS ground rate was 12. The 2 day air rate was the 38 rate they charged me. Beware that your best interests aren’t on their mind. You may pay too much and they will explain it away.

I always take stuff her to get packed to ship. They are super nice and friendly and do a great job of packaging up fragile things. I had a large picture sent to Europe and it arrived in perfect shape, among other items they have packaged for me. Highly recommended!
