After reading the impressive quantity of outstanding reviews for Lake Norman Plumbing Company, I called to inquire about installing a water softening system. Steve was very knowledgeable and straightforward about the process, the product used, and the cost. His crew came out the next week and installed it as described and promised. More importantly, they did a beautiful job of installing it neatly and carefully. Steve came back to check on the job and make sure we were satisfied customers. And we absolutely are! We highly recommend Lake Norman Plumbing Co.!

I initially called at 4:30 PM with my hot water heater leaking water all over my garage floor. When i first called it went to voicemail. After a second call a few minutes later, i got the owner on the phone. He immediately referred me to the website to fill out a service request. This was pretty painless, and only took a few minutes to fill out. After an hour, i got a call saying that the plumber was on his way. The plumber (Zach) and his helper arrived and made quick work of the hot water heater replacement. Attached to my review you will see an example of their work. The customer service, quality of work, and parts chosen by Lake Norman Plumbing were all great. My biggest issue is with the cost. After calling around to get additional pricing for other companies (required by my home warranty) it became very apparent that i was extremely over charged. Almost every other company that gave me a quote came back at 800-1300. They charged me 1752. They also pass on a 4% charge to the customer if you elect to use a credit card.
i called Steve about 1 week prior to the work being done but I had told him up front we were not in a huge hurry. His guys came and did numerous things around the house that were the remaining few things we needed done to finish a remodel. They made some suggestions and I agreed with their assessment. I am really glad I found these folks and I am having them come back to talk about tankless water heaters soon. They were very fair, extremely professional and courteous. They did not leave any mess and the work looks fantastic. Its refreshing when the owner of a company actually answer the phone himself. I cannot recommend these guys enough.
OMG!!! Zach and Thomas are the most unbelievably excellent Hot Water Replacement Technicians EVER!!! My Hot Water Heater sprung a leak and I was hoping that just maybe it could be repaired but Owner Steve answered the phone and explained to me that we are looking at a replacement.. I explained to Steve that the Hot Water Heater is located under the house in a 3 ft tall crawl space and he said that they could handle the job no problem.. A couple hours later Zach and Thomas showed up went under the house started disconnecting lines and electric..Then had to roll the old one out and roll the new one back under the House..Poor guys had to crawl in the wet clay to do the job and never once said anything negative..I really felt bad for them they really had some nasty conditions to work in..They handled it well thats what was so impressive about those two.. Any more Plumbing Problems and I will definitely call Lake Norman Plumbing!!!!! David H. Western Rowan County
We were having issues with our Hot water tank delivering enough hot water to the rest of our house. When I called , Steve answered the phone himself and was giving me a quote for our issue with in a day. Steve was able to replace our Hot water heater with a Rinnai tankless hot water system( not an easy task based on where our old electric hot water tank was located in relation to our propane tank) Best decision ever especially with 3 kids. He was here the next day and his guys were in and out in 5hours. They made sure everything was cleaned up and left no mess. Steve called later that night to make sure we were happy with everything. I would highly recommend Lake Norman Plumbing and will use them in the future!
