The view from the top is very picturesque and the place is nicely built making good use of the natural surroundings. The rooms were excellent and were well equipped with an attached bathroom in each that also had hot water, two double beds in each room, air conditioning, and a TV as well. The staff was friendly but the food was average, considering the rest of the facilities available. The pool is well-maintained but for some reason, the water felt warmer than expected. A nice experience overall; recommended for a day outing or an overnight stay. You need to supply the ingredients for the food. It should be highlighted that the place is built with accessibility in mind for differently-abled individuals. Especially the pool and the front garden area. The road from the main road to the villa is narrow and a bit rugged even though it is paved. Take special care when taking the route in a vehicle with low ground clearance.

Nestled among a low country tea estate, this villa is good value for money. We went there as group of four families and everyone enjoyed the accommodation especially kids. Its relatively new property of about one year. There are four similar rooms in a single building (2 rooms in ground floor & 2 rooms in 1st floor). Each room have two double beds. Rooms are spacious with all amenities. Bathrooms are clean and tidy. Rooms are having air conditioner, tv & stand fan as standard. Rooms are built very orderly where you get a middle area between rooms & bathroom where there is a wardrobe with locker. Hot water is available. Water pressure could be better. Swimming pool is medium sized and has a baby pool. Max height of pool is around 5ft. Lunch area has been given a village look with wood & mud floor finish. Aesthetics are nice. We brought the cooking ingredients and food preparation by the in-house staff was good. But could have been better. They have a good barbecue setup and staff are experts in barbecue. Barbecue is a definite try here. You can do a brisk walk within the estate. There are lot of tropical vegetation such as pineapple, goraka, dragon fruit, etc... which you can a have look at. For children this could be something educational. If you are lucky can have sightings of peacock. The manager sachin was very helpful and he helped us book a tour to sinharaja reserve with a expert guide. Sinharaja reserve is around 60 - 90 mins drive from the property. Accommodation near sinharaja are having lot of leeches. But in this property we hardly found one. Overall highly recommended.
