Had a lovely evening meal here as part of our visit to the area. The food was excellent and the portion size was very good, and good value for money. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this place and may well visit again this week

Really enjoyable meal. Food is quite salty though. People around are so super friendly. We had the mushroom risotto and meatball linguini.
Food was unassuming and simply amazing. One of the specials was egg, ham, and chips. With that sort of thing, there's nowhere to hide - and these people should *never* hide! The other special was burger. Again, unassuming. Just bun (from a bakery 2 miles away), patty and chips. Patty cooked British-style (i.e. two tones overcooked for my taste) but beautifully seasoned - peppery flavours coming through effortlessly. Pair with a local gin, the house is an exclusive sticker of the 1.5-litre Cotswolds local. The star of the show were the chips. If nothing else, you *must* Try. The. Chips. I would go on a 30-mipe detour for these Chips! Reasonably priced given the location.
This delightful inn is outstanding. The staff are very attentive. This is the best steak I have had since leaving the Army!!!. A nice beer garden at rear. Highly recommend.
A great pub in the centre of town, warm and cosy setting, friendly people with great food. Had my first pheasant and absolutely enjoyed it. Reasonably priced and good portion size. Strongly recommend it. Will be visiting again !
