Loop trail around the lake was pretty my 4 year old cousin loved it!

My favorite place to hike. Pack your bag with plenty of water and a snack. There’s many trails in this park. At the trail head, there is a large picnic area and bathrooms. A trail runs beside the water for easy access, some places are ankle deep but gets deeper. Heavy trafficked , packed on the weekend.

A beautiful park with a great horse/hiking trail. One trail leads around the pond and is a little over a mile, and the other goes up the mountain where it dead ends at the top. The pond is huge, and can be fished in with a license.

There's a nice view of the mountains from the lake. I recommend taking the 1.3 mile lake view trail around the lake. The creek trail is not worth it, there is no view and it leads to a dead end. This place is usually empty, even on weekends.
