I have known this place for more than 20 years, and it is an excellent place where they give care to people in need. For one oh another reason I have needed help and they have always taken good care of me. this is a public assistance facility, most of the people who come to these offices want to be served instantly. they don't have the patience to wait their turn. I recommend

I would give 0 stars if I could. They never answer the phone and if you call more than once they hang up the phone without even letting it ring. It’s near impossible to get one thing done because they are always messing up on their end and then don’t answer the phones to fix their mistakes.

This place and also the one in Dover, absolutely AWFUL. They will mail in forms for me to fill out, I will complete them and mail them off. I have no vehicle, so it’s hard for me to visit these locations, so I mail them off since I’m only up the road from the post office. Yet they tell me they NEVER received my forms, and canceled my benefits. I made it to the office in Dover to tell them I mailed in my forms. The woman told me she would activate my service again which should take no longer than 3 days. TWO WEEKS HAVE PASSED. My service still not activated. I am now struggling to make ends meet. I have called both offices and neither answer their phone and when they do, they have a attitude!! I thought this place was for helping people?? I guess I’m at the wrong business.

OTA isnt funded right and they abuse the funds

Rather go to the OTA in Morris-town , you may have to wait longer to be seen by a social worker but they work a bit faster then ota in dover.
