I have had Lovey's Pizza multiple times. Their pizza is really bad it tastes like cardboard and another time i tasted like it was frozen. My cousin also went here had had a similar experience. And this happened multiple times. Go to Dominos or to Mario's Pizza instead.

I remember Loveys Pizza growing up in Parsippany. I used to run there to get a slice. It started on one side of the street and then ended up a few years later across the street in the old Hershey Ice Cream shop. The Pizza was good then and it is still good in Morris Plains. I love how they occupy the corner spot on the street, just like back in the day. The pizza parlor becomes a fabric of the neighborhood. Based on all of the local sports memorabilia in the Pizzeria, they still support the local sports teams. Now on to the Pizza. I really went in undetected to get my slice, which was piping hot, and needeed a long time to cool. This made it tough to evaluate the slice as I had to work around it. The crust is the star of the show. Nice crunch and it keeps the Pizza in place, there is no Flop on a Loveys slice. The cheese was good and provided a good ratio with the sauce. It was a solid 4 stars. The parlor just opened so everyone was busy, so I didnt get the chance to talk pizza with them. Though, I think they will be in the semi finals in Morris County on Pizza Hunters App, which would me we would visit again. Great Job Lovey's.

Tonight decided we would give Loveys a shot. I called at approximately 6pm and they gave me a 45 minute wait for a plain pie. Ok, fine. I waited the 45 minutes and even showed up a few minutes early. The pizza I got was just above room temp and the bottom of the pizza was stiff. It is obvious to me that my pizza had been done long before the 45 minute estimate given to me. Pizza taste was ok. The very first impression given off by this place is when you open the door. There are two, a screen door that is broken, and a commercial metal door behind it that grinds against the floor and gets stuck as you push.. not a great start.
