Nothing like having your stuff stolen and told we are busy and getting no response. I was told would check with neighbors that have cameras of which didn't happen. I went to neighbors myself and was told that a suspicious vehicles was behind my house the night my ladders were stolen and informed the police department and still have not heard back.

I want to thank you for coming in the middle of the night. It took maybe 5? 6? minutes to solve the problem which was so much pain for our apartment complex for hours. As foreigners, we've never called police before and we really appreciate our first experience! :)

I have lived in some of the largest cities and some of the smallest towns. MPD is a top notch department. I've had instances where I needed their help and they were quick to respond. I have met a few in social situations and they were good people. I had an instance where I thought an officer crossed the line and I was able to speak with the chief. I can't speak to other's experiences, but I can say that, in my experience, the dept has been great.

Morrisville has a high population of highly educated people lacking basic understanding of local laws and common sense. These guys have an above average challenge of educating a population to accept responsibility for their actions. So people accept your parking tickets, traffic violations and whatever other heart aches you have all in good stride and thank these good police officers for giving the you the real education you so deserve.
