I grew up around this ministry and I've seen how it's grown from 4 students in 1996 to 36 students in 2019. They had 8 staff and currently they have 47. Now I work here, too. We are constantly changing, growing, and seeking the best possible way to restore troubled boys when life-controlling issues plague them. Every day, I wake up excited to encourage the troubled boys in our ministry. I cry for and with them, for their families and the pain that comes when someone in the family has a life-controlling problem, and I daily put my faith in God as he works through our team to reach them. Walking down the halls, I daily witness students being encouraged by the staff members here to live better lives. We constantly look to find the seed of something good and do all we know how to let it grow. During Family Weekends, I see teams of support surrounding these families who have been through some unimaginable circumstances. Our hope is to help facilitate the rebuilding of burnt bridges with sons and their families, giving these kids their best fighting chance. Families placing their troubled sons anywhere are fighting for their son's best chance in seemingly impossible situations. If I had a kid struggling with this stuff, I would want to send him here.

I have worked with Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch as a teacher for 3 1/2 years. This is the best job I've ever had hands down!! I get to wake up every day and serve world changers!! Our leadership and staff are a unified team/ family in christ. We are in constant communication with one another concerning the boys. We have weekly meetings, daily emails, prayer, as well as real time moment by moment communication in order to make the greatest impact on the boys. If you desire to make life controlling issues a thing of the past for your Son we are ready to help you!

They told us of the importance of not letting our son manipulate us but then provided a framework for him to get what he wanted and threw him out without notice. They took him to a local hospital and just left him there. We are 14 hours away so had to get a transport service on short notice for 7k to take him somewhere else. He is now doing much better at White River. I wish we would have skipped Teen Challenge for his sake and for the 12k Teen Challenge took for just over a month. Look elsewhere to help your son.

Don't hesitate to seek their help if you or someone you know is dealing with a troubled teenage boy. A life changing opportunity is available through Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch because their healing and problem solving is through CHRIST- and they give Him credit for the high success rate that occurs through their program. Also, be sure that you are aware...it is not just drug and alcohol problems that they tackle, but many other difficult behavioral issues that families struggle with. Mixing adventurous outings with instruction, Bible truths and Christ centered adults that truly love and care for kids, seems to work miracles!

We have been so blessed by Teen Challenge. The staff is amazing and their hearts are after God's own! They have blessed us years after our son left the program and still continue to follow up and care for our family. They are loving, compassionate, and want the absolute best for every young man that walks through the doors. Their focus is to lead every young man to the Lord and watch the young men's lives change before their eyes. What a blessing!
