Beautiful views from an easy paved path. From the Mosier side it’s a mile to the tunnels. We visited in January so it wasn’t busy at all, but the path is wide and can handle many visitors while still being enjoyable. Great for kids, dogs, cyclists, and walkers of all ages. We loved going through the tunnels and look forward to going back.

Took the family for a walk... Not that difficult, slight incline, largest incline is back up the road to the parking lot...lol.. Handicap parking AT the gate. The path is paved and level great for bikes, strollers, chairs. Be prepared for weather... It's Oregon.. We went from sunny with clouds to high wind gusts to sideways rain and cold all within 3 hours.. But worth it. The tunnels are amazing.
Great trip down memory lane - figuratively as I wasn't alive when the road was built and in use. Watch out for bicycles lots of traffic, not too many walkers with their dogs which was what I was doing. Lots of interesting spots to stop and take pictures. I highly recommend!
Very fun biking or walking area. So scenic. Definitely bring food and/or water. There's none available up there.
This is a lovely walk with great views. It's all paved, and a slight incline. Would recommend going to checking it out!
