Upon taking a job a new job in Seattle, my company (a large fortune 50) utilized Move Management to transport my vehicle and household goods. While initial communication was fine, there was very little communication along the way unless I initiated. After repeated inquires for updates on when delivery would happen (so I could plan accordingly), I was told they can't give updates. Apparently the moving trucks are not tracked and drivers are not allowed to use their phones??!! I could tell there was something off when we approached the end of a 14 day moving window (14 days for a two day drive!) and had not been given any update. Sure enough, two days out, I was told the delivery would be delayed and there is o explanation\ as to why or even where all of my stuff is at. Delivery was delayed 4 days and their email (nope, not even the courtesy of a call) stated that \hopefully\ they will get able to hit that date. Move Management displays little sense of urgency and I'm honestly not sure what their role even is. Oh and my car was damaged during shipment. After a multi-month claims process they offered me 1/3rd of the estimate to get repairs done. Again no explanation. If you can get around using this company I woudl HIGHLY suggest doing so.

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I was hired at a company in Seattle, where I was relocated from Michigan. Move Management began by having very little contact and being unresponsive when I asked for updates. When they finally contacted me to set up a pack/load date, it was only about a week before we were leaving and they were not flexible at all. Then, they informed me that our household goods could take up to three weeks to be delivered. I don't know if that's standard for a moving company, but how are we expected to live for three weeks with no bed, clothes, dishes, etc.? We asked if we could move the packing date forward so our goods would arrive sooner, and they were able to move it a few days earlier, but that didn't really help. I contacted them again to see if they actually expected the shipment to take that long, and the manager assured me that the goods would arrive within a week and a half. Of course, it took them the full three weeks to deliver everything, with no updates as to why. I'm lucky my company paid for this move, because it would not have been worth a cent. If I could do it again, I would just rent a Uhaul and pay for it myself. Stay as far away from them as possible.
