First time taking my kids to any ski/tubing place. The chair lift was definitely the fight for bravery & then the talk of excitement all the way home. We had such a good time tubing and playing in the snow. The staff was super friendly & chill. Making it even more of a relaxing vibe. Calming firstimer nerves and making the kids feel at ease. This Moma was impressed & anyone that puts my kids fun & safety first has my vote to return again and again!! Thank you \u003c3

One of the most beautiful mountain hills in LA county. The road from the bottom to the top is perfectly clean and maintained. A lot of parking lots and picnic areas. At the very top of the mountain there is a ski resort with a cable train transportation. It will take you 15-18 min to get to the very top and 30 round way ticket for adult and 18 for kid. When you get to the top you will be speechless because of the view!!!! They have the most-most outstanding view of Catalina island from the mountain top. So, you will have opportunity to enjoy the view of the mountains, urban area of Long Beach, beautiful Pacific Ocean and Catalina island. There is no such like view in entire area. Watch my photos and videos and visit that place. Must see!! Must visit!!
Great place, but not for the person looking to get away and learn. Runs can be slick/icy and runs are not all that wide. Recent media coverage has drawn more people to the area, which has taken away from its charm and small mountain feel. PLEASE do NOT drive up to the mountain if you are not prepared for cold, perhaps icy driving conditions. The people living in Baldy area are awesome people so RESPECT where they live. I love Baldy (and so do my sons) but just know that it is an awesome place, and we all want to keep it that way.
Went snow tubing on a weekday to avoid the crowds and it was great! Scenic lift and nice tubing experience for family (6 and 8 year olds had a blast). The employees were working hard and doing their best to endorse the mask policy which was very much appreciated. Would come again on a weekday for sure!
Awesome spot nestled away deep in the San Gabriel Mountains. There aren't a ton of runs but there aren't a ton of waits either. The staff was extremely helpful along the way, HUGE shoutout to the rental staff who were beyond helpful and efficient for an extreme novice like myself. Chairs 1, 2 & 3 were running for my trip. The beginners gulch was a little icy but as you made the turn into the final run down to chairs 2 & 3, it was really smooth and nice to glide on. You can rent skis, snowboards, there's tubing for the little ones and hiking as well.
