The location is beautiful and the community, itself, is set up beautifully! I was blown away by the landscape and the cottage we viewed, exceeded my expectations. The nursing staff, especially the daytime nurse who works on Saturday, was attentive and very knowledgeable when I had a few generals questions to ask. Great place and a nice drive if you are coming from outside of town. I'm quite certain, that Mt. Carmel has peaked my family's interest.

Great coworker, great administration to work under. Everyone at this facility care for the residents as if they were their own family.

I was visiting a family member here for the last four days, and I'm really impressed with this facility. The staff I met were outgoing, happy and friendly, and extremely accommodating. The services provided are very well thought out, the meals were tasty and can be made to order. I'm so happy I visited. Not just so I could spend time with Mom, and meet her delightful neighbors, but to get the lay of the land. It erased any concerns I may have had.

The place is beautiful, most of the staff are friendly and very nice and for most of the brief time my husband was there, he loved it. Unfortunately, his health declined quickly and one morning he called me to tell me no one had come to offer him assistance. I came right over and went to talk to Matt and Phil, whereupon I was told he shouldn't be there anymore and he shouldn't have been brought back there from the emergency room the night before. I was there every day, often multiple times a day. No one called me to discuss this and no one discussed it with him. They didn't have time to discuss it with us then and left it to me to tell him. They offered no other options for him, either. When he went in, they led us to believe he could stay there, with hospice care, if needed till the end. He died the day after under miserable circumstances.

Currently an employee and about to hit the year mark of being employed there. I have to say this has seriously been the best job I have ever had. Staff is treated fairly. Administration follows the rules and are very professional. Great work atmosphere every time I enter the building. This is a great place for people who want to live in an assisted living facility. Overall, one of the best places to be a part of.

My grandfather and grandmother have lived here for years. This community has far exceeded my families expectations in every way. As a nurse/paramedic for the last 25 years I have dealt with hundreds of nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This place is by far the best I have ever seen. The grounds and buildings are beautiful, new and very well maintained. The nursing staff is knowledgeable, well staffed and very caring. The support staff from CNAs, housekeepers and kitchen staff are always polite efficient and friendly. Mr Buck is the all around do everything guy. One day I think he is a manager the next he seems like the good will ambassador, then you see him cleaning and fixing things. He knows everything about every resident at Mount Carmel and treats everyone as if they are family. They have every level of care from independent living to memory care all on the same grounds but still separate from each other. There is no where else that I would want my family to be.

Mt Carmel is without question the best Assisted Living facility in Arkansas and even beyond. My Dad lived there for three years...he thrived there and loved it. With my brother in Alaska and I in Canada, we never worried about him in any aspect. First class stunning facility, amazing management and staff, great food...I'm ready to move there myself! If I could I would give them a 10star rating.
