It's a historical mark for Turkish Nation and the place in where the ceasefire agreement was signed and ended the military theater of Turkish War of Independence. Fun fact; even though the battle was between Turkey and Greece on the battleground, Greek representatives weren't allowed to take part of the treaty and waited in a ship nearby.

A good local museum about a peace process of international significance. It's a while since I went, there was quite a bit of info in both Turkish and English, but maybe not everything was presented in both. Still, very much worth a visit.

There were plastic chairs and tables at the terrace which means that the staff makes good time out of working hours. But can we see the great view of the terrace? Hell no! Unfortunately the door is locked to the visitors. And you can see the rooms from the corridor, but no entrance and close glance. So you can only visit the corridors of the museum. Welcome to Turkish style museum visiting. By the way, just two floors, and only corridors, they are going to take your 5 Turkish fancy Liras. Come on guys, you won the Independence War at this building!

Small but cute cottage but the information at the museum isnt sufficient. Prior to visit, I suggest to read more through internet, to have a more meaningful visit. For instance, pls check the strory behind the crack on the marble table.
