Even if you're a solo traveller, this is a must visit. I came here alone and they helped me select the cheese and seafood option, the portion size said to be for 2 is perfect for a single that wants to be rolled out of the restaurant... Happily stuffed. Add more 'toppings' for bigger groups. Delicious and so fulfilling. The staff are wonderful and I would love to come back with friends so I can try the other options.

Tucked into one of those distinctly old houses around the area. You can tell there have been loads of Chinese tourists coming. The staff speaks really good Mandarin but English is somewhat lacking. But there isn’t much on the menu and there are some simple explanation on the menu. Basically they just serve this stew and u choose what ingredients you want added into it. I took the beef and the pork. The beef is legit thin slices of beef but the pork consist of sausages and luncheon meat - both of which are definitely those canned stuff u buy from the supermarket. Still the stew is tasty and on a cold day, nothing taste so good like a hot pot of stew and ingredients!

Known for the Tteobokki and army stew. Business is very good and often have to wait in queue. But the wait is worth it. The food is good.

Great place for winters meal. I had the beef and pork sausage and I wished I had the seafood and beef instead. The longer it simmers the spicier the food get so do lower the fire as time passes. I also like it complimented with the pickled radish. Overall, great place after visiting the palace.

We had the seafood tteokbokki with cheese and some others toppings. The fried rice was very nice also.

The fresh tteok makes a world of difference in the bite, and be sure to check out their army stew base! That fried rice at the end really rounds it off very nicely. Be sure to come hungry!
