I have been a patient for several years and overall it has been a great experience. Today was different. On Tuesday, I had my teeth cleaned and had a full set of X-ray's done. The X-ray showed a cavity on tooth 13. Since the doctor was not in, I was told to make an appointment for an exam by the doctor and to have the cavity filled. I made the appointment for 12/20. I was told when I made the appointment that I would have the cavity filled at the same time. I received a call stating the doctor would not be in 12/20 could I come in 12/19. I arrived at the office expecting to have the tooth filled. To my surprise, I was told I was only scheduled for an exam. After stating that I thought I was here to have my cavity filled, I was told by Dr. Burt that my insurance needed to be verified and if it was OK, Dr. Burt would work on the tooth. Once, the insurance was cleared, I was told he had too many patients and he wouldn't have time to do it. Make another appointment. I left my job an hour early to make today's appointment only to sit in the chair. I didn't have an exam, the doctor looked at my X-RAY and confirmed I have a cavity. Not once did I open my mouth for him to look in it. This could have been done without me stepping foot in the office. Now I have to take off a couple hours to get the cavity filled. Today was a waste of my time and I am appalled at how I was treated in your office today.

Really good service. The staff and drs were very friendly. The dental hygienist who did my cleaning did an amazing job and try to help me to overcome on my problematic teeth with periodontal disease which I am so thankful.
This place is AMAZING! I live out of state and was up visiting family for the holidays when I got a dry socket and the pain was excruciating. They got me in super fast (every other dentist office was closed for the holidays) and took care of everything right away! Gentle dentist who is very skilled at his job. I am very impressed with the level of care they provided. I would recommend them to everyone!!!
I have been a patient at Main Street Dental for over a year and have been ok with service received (always have a long wait). However tonite I went for my 4:20pm appt and I Walked Out told them I would not be returning. My wait period was long, then I was taken back to a room with a Tech who was completely incompetent. First she updated my medical information for which needed the help of a coworker because she did not know how to input info into computer. Then she realized she had the wrong patient up on the screen and had to go back and delete the info she had just put in and redo it to my file. Then she left the room for about 20 minutes. I soon realized that there was only one doctor and he was with another patient and it would be an even longer wait. I told them I was not happy with the service and left. I told them I would not be returning as patient after this bad experience I am not in the habit of posting any comments but tonite I felt that I had to share my experience. Anna C
I can't stress enough how much you should never rely on this practice for anything beyond a cleaning. They will find naturally occurring flaws in your teeth and tell you that it's a cavity. You'll endure pain and discomfort AND with the added joy of paying the bill. This is a corporate-owned facility, which means exactly one thing: RUN.
