This is equivalent to more than 25% of the jobs required to absorb the entire working-age population by 2030! Such is the capability and power in the hands of women entrepreneurs in India! Yet, the bitter truth remains is that India ranks 112 (of 153 countries) in the World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Index 2020. India is down 4 places since 2018 and 14 places since 2006. We NEED a revolution of sorts for women entrepreneurs to claim their rightful place in the Indian and global economy.
