I had been servicing my Skoda Fabia car from Motofyx but this time thought of trying it from other service provider and opted Gomechanics. Gomechanics alloted me Ramkrishna services workshop near Ram mandir. This is not an authenticated workshop, it is a roadside small garage. The prices charged for the extra work is very high. For example brake system, wheel cylinder charges charged by Gomechanics are Rs 1400350, where the OEM parts(TVs Girling) are available for Rs 350 per wheel cylinder. If Gomechanics is charging the rates of the authorised service centre of Skoda, why would I opt for Gomechanics, I will go to the Authorize service centres. Motofyx is much more better than Gomechanics. So Beware from such looters.

I had been servicing my car in showroom for years ,but this year tried to get servicing done through gomechamic .I was allocated this workshop ,as I had never done car service at local workshops I decided to give a try but decided to be at the workshop during my servicing Like gomechamic claims ,this workshop doesn't follows covid sanitisation process and intact it to s filthy,but still decided to still proceed I was told that there is issue with my brake pads( a way to frighten people due to criticality) and wheel cylinder . I agreed and ask for the estimate ,guy who was smartly dressed said it would be 1600 plus labour( although servicing included brake pad cleanup) so my car was already opened ( didn't understand the reason for labour charge) .Like normal people who are hardly aware of the brand's they replaced my brake pads and wheel cylinder ,however I took the box with me , When I inquire at local workshops to my surprise the brake pads an were of the local brand costing not more than 300-400 max ,.I felt cheated Also gomechamic executive hardly enquire ABT the brand and told me to pay the amount when I was at the workshop.I felt cheated to the core Guys this happened when I was at the workshop Imagine people trusting these people staying at home Gomechamic executive also seems to be tied to the workshop as instead of providing correct guidance ,misguided me Later raised complajnt with the upper management post which my brake pads were changed for which I needed to take leave for 2 days Besides this .normal servicing which I am not sure was actually done was also not gud Washing was pathetic Had to send the person twice to clean the car again Guys beware and avoid if u love your car and don't want to feel cheated as these guys know to get money out of your pockets
