I have never been here as it sells forbidden unclean pork meat in the name of Blessed Mary. It has the name 'Mt. Mary Cold Storage' though it is nowhere near Mt. Mary's Basilica or Mt. Mary Road.

If you are a Pork lover besides frozen meats, ham, salami, luncheon meat, turkey ham, the place to shop in Bandra(W). For freshest lean cuts.
This place sometimes has good pork. However, it comes at a huge price and attached inconvenience. The attendant engages you in conversation while his man slips through older meat loaded with fat and bones and also cheats on the scale a lot (I have seen even 200 gms blatant difference). He says 1.5kgs while the scale is only 1:300 or 1:350 while quickly removing and beginning to chop. Standing there I have witnessed this happen. Buyer beware. There is another shop down the road towards the Carmels church called "Popular" and is much better and does not cheat. The boys cutting and giving the meat take time to cater as per your requirement in cuts and skinning the meat at no extra cost or attitude. They don't behave like they are doing you a favor by giving you meat that you have purchased. No issues on the scale and cost either. No cheating noticed here. Between the two, "Popular" pork shop definitely stands out for your pork needs. He also stores a variety of cold cuts and masalas. The Meat at Popular stores near the mount Carmels church is fresh and does not have a greenish slime as I had noticed on the pack of bacon being palmed off to a un-noticing customer at the Mt. Mary cold storage. Be on your guard here for meat that you pay for. Go with Popular as it is just 100 meters away towards the church and safer and friendlier. You get what you pay for and won't be cheated.
