Purepur Kolhapur is one of the most authentic and famous hotels for Marathi cuisine. It has good variety and the prices are reasonable also. It has branches in Pune and Mumbai apart from Kolhapur. Food is great and staff is very cordial. Absolutely fantastic experience. Loved it !!!

We visited this place for lunch. We had mutton and egg plate . Taste wise food was excellent. Only regret was that these guys need to be more clean in terms of ambience. If this place is renovated then this place will be rocking. Price wise they are good. This place has a repeat value. Not heavy on pocket and taste wise also good.

The Bharla vanga was extremely average , the brinjal was raw with no masala inside. The overall preparation wasn't spicy at all so the essence of Kolhapur was lost. Kharvas was good. Ambience and service average. Can easily give this place a misd

Get the flavour of Kolhapur ..: from Sev bhaji, Usal to Kombdi bada ...they have it all. With Rice Bhakri and other Indian breads. Co operative staff. Nice family hangout.

Located in the same lane as Mi Marathi.. What a contrast! From pure vegetarian Maharashtrian snacks to meat and fish all the way. A medium sized no frills place which can seat around 40-50 people. Very courteous waitstaff and prompt service. I ordered the Mutton Fry Thali which comes with fried Mutton in a tomato and onion based paste. The meat was very tender. There is a also a side of Kheema which was nothing special. The Tambda rassa was refreshing yet spicy. They offer rice along with the meal but I skipped that and just stuck to the bhakri which was freshly made! Overall a good place to satisfy your "zanzhanit" (spicy) Kohlapuri cravings. Will visit again..
