I love Silver Birch. My mother was diagnosed with early-onset dementia and needed help with medications, diabetes management and meal reminders. Social Security is her only source of income so she was able to qualify for financial help to move into Silver Birch. The staff have taken great care of her while still maintaining much of her independence. She has her own apartment, but is thrilled that the staff take care of cleaning, trash removal, and laundry for her. The measures Silver Birch has taken through the pandemic have been very impressive. As a family member, I am kept very well informed and have been able to visit mom under strict COVID precautions.

I sadly had to move my Mom (Marvilla Noles) out of her aparment at Silver Birch this past week. My Mom loves it here and actually found meaning to her life again as she made new friends and was able to help others. She praised the efforts of the activities director for always having fun things to do. She enjoyed working with the staff and residents to help establish Silver Birch as a great place to live. Staff members go above and beyond to keep residents safe from Covid. Since being in the hospital she has now had it twice! We are hoping that as she gets stronger she will be able to come back to Silver Birch in the future and enjoy her independence once again.
The dining room food is terrible! You have to wait 25 minutes to be served your meal and then it is cold. If you send it back you get it back cold. For example green beans are just like they are not even cooked and pasta sauce is like it is just spooned out of the can! I blame the manager who even brings it to us cold. I don’t believe they are following proper health guidelines!
I took a tour of silver birch this past week and was amazed on how clean and nice it was.i hope i get approved to live here.
Absolutely stunning. Muncie has needed an assisted living home like this for a long time, I am so thankful it has finally came! This building is gorgeous on the inside and out. So far they have seemed to have hired a very respectful, yet well-trained staff. Very friendly!
