Municipal corporation of Gurugram. 1. Visited here to get the birth certificate of my child. Process to get it is very slow but staff here is co-operative. Please beware of touts, as they can charge anything if they know the urgency of your matter. 2. Payment window is open from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm, while all other windows are open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. 3. Signage is OK, but can be improved. 4. Offices and outside premises are very dirty and emanating foul smell. 5. Though water coolers are working, but place is not clean. Hence carry your own water.

Staff is helpful, but process is long. Come at 9am to get token, or you will have to come again next day. Lunch is around 2pm-3pm. We reached at 10.20 for my newborn baby's Aadhaar card (step before getting birth certificate in Haryana) and were initially told that tokens are over. Thankfully, the kind staff saw that our full family was there and gave us a token for just before lunch. We returned at lunch time and they did the entire process is less than half hour. They allow mothers and babies to sit inside their office, but other members are asked to wait outside near the queue. Bring your own water if you think it will take time.
