It was so good! I walked in without a reservation on what seemed like a busy night, and got a table. The wait staff was super friendly and polite, and explained how to eat the kinme-don, which is what this town and location is famous for. Even if you can't eat raw fish, the teriyaki-style kinme is amazing! Also, the menu has English, which definitely helps out!
I was not impressed with included tours vegan meal or that I was asked to sit upstairs with other vegans while my sister and friend ate downstairs. Then they had to bring some normal meal eaters upstairs as there wasn't enough room for them all.

高知へ行くなら地元のキンメが食べたいと 思い立って寄ったお店は事前予約制で 近くで美味しそうなお店と探して訪問した 料亭花月 ランチタイム間に合った 歴史を感じさせる趣のあるお店です 中に入るとサインが沢山 キンメ丼を食べられるお店は多いけれど 人気店らしいです ２Ｆへ案内され 床の間のある部屋でした ランチメニューから室戸キンメ丼をチョイス 室戸キンメ丼の説明 英語の説明もありました キンメの照り焼きはたっぷりですがキンメのお刺身は2切 他に2種のお刺身 うーん照り焼きこそ2切でもいいから キンメのお刺身一切れでも増やして欲しい！！ 照り焼きもおいしいんですけれどねー 皮目がサッと炙られたキンメのお刺身はとても美味しい お吸い物もほっとします 丼を途中まで食べ勧めたら金目鯛でとった出汁を たっぷりかけて出汁茶漬けでいただきました アツアツなのお刺身に少し火が入ってまた違った味わい 結構お腹いっぱいに せっかく室戸まで行ったら室戸産のキンメダイは味わった方がいいですよー
