I have been a patient; under the care of Dr. Landau for approximately 11 years. I have always found him to be very knowledgeable and experienced as an Orthopaedic Surgeon. He has always exhibited a very friendly, caring, bedside manner. He always explains your medical concerns in a very understandable manner. Dr. Landau is always helpful and accommodating in answering your questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone, in need of an orthopedic surgeon. So grateful to have him as my doctor!

Murphy Wainer Orthopedic Specialists are a fantastic team that really care about their patients. My son suffered a very bad shoulder dislocation in 2019 that required surgery. We had an appointment the next morning and then an MRI within the week. By the next week his surgery was scheduled and completed. He has full use of his shoulder and is back playing football again. Recently he suffered another hit to his elbow and we were able to be seen the same day for xrays. Dr. Varkey is a wonderful surgeon and really cares about his patients. We will only use Murphy Wainer for our Orthopedic needs!

Received an appt the day after my call. Dr. Varkey was very detailed about my issues and offered his best outcome opinion. I would recommend his services to anyone with a shoulder problem. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Overall an excellent experience.

I definitely give this place 5 stars. I hurt my ankle/foot and was in major pain and went on a Saturday morning. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles from the reception desk. They used stellar COVID precautions to ensure safety. I did not have to wait long at all and was taken back to the exam room by caring staff. I was given an x-ray quickly and the doctor met with me to discuss my plan of treatment. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. She made sure to take the time to make sure she answered all of my questions and explained everything to me. I absolutely loved this place and received phenomenal service and treatment. So glad I found them and that they have an outstanding urgent care.

This review is for the MRI appointment. It does not reflect on my primary Orthopedist. A 7:15am MRI appointment was scheduled to try to determine what is causing the pain down my arm. It was my first MRI and didn’t really know what to expect. I knew it would be a tight fit and I would need to be still. I certainly wasn’t expecting to be taken outside to a mobile MRI unit. They laid me on a table, gave me a bladder ball to squeeze if I needed to come out of the MRI, and go! Hold On! I wasn’t in a comfortable position and my arm was starting to hurt. I squeeze the ball and said “Bring me out. Bring me out!” The two attendants ignored both the squeeze and the shout. The next thing I knew there were horrible, loud sounds - like jack hammers - happening beside my head. I was given no warning of the noise. The headrest on the bed was digging into my shoulder and my arm was killing me! Would it have been so bad to give me a pillow to prop my arm on. When it was all over, they lowered me to the pavement and said I could go to my car. When I pointed out my husband was waiting for me in the lobby of the building, the attendant offered to go to her car to get the fob that would allow her to open the door for me. God forbid they be prepared. I ended up walking around the building to the front entrance.
