Best Eye Drs Around. All staff is very friendly and help you as much as they can. Very Special people own this place and only hire the best! I would advise anyone with eye problems to go here!

Social experience was great. However, they refused to give me the PD of my prescription. I know Utah doesn't require it to be part of the prescription slip, but other places do it for cheaper than the exam they gave me. So if you want to go here, fine. Just know they will unashamedly keep you from knowing your entire prescription unless you dish out money to them.
Love Eyemax Eyecare, have been going to them for over 20 years. Dr Joe is amazing, he specializes in Keratoconus and has helped me throughout the original diagnosis and subsequent follow ups. Dr Joe and the entire staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Especially like the fact the they actually want to KNOW you, and get you what you need no matter what it takes and not just try to get you in and out as fast as they can. They always explain their billing in detail to you and if your insurance pays more than what is listed on your benefits they will send you a check back. The office staff (Ashley in particular) are always very kind and it’s pretty cool that when you walk in after a year they still know who you are. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for good eye doctor, I lived near their office for my first few years, but now live over 50 miles away and will continue to travel to be seen by Dr Joseph Martin.
After two misdiagnosis from other Dr.'s for a viral eye infection someone recommended Eyemax and I'm soo glad they did! Dr. Martin was able to correctly diagnose my problem and provide much needed meds to stop the deterioration of my eye. I can't imagine how much more vision i would have lost if I hadn't come here. Thank you so much. They always fit me in with my hectic schedule and I never have to wait more than five minutes in the waiting room. I love that they value my time. Dr. Martin is funny and professional. My Auntie has been coming here since i recommended it and loves it too.
I've been a patient of Dr. G's for years now and I always enjoy my visits. The staff are all kind and helpful, always making sure that I understand what tests are being performed and how my bill is broken down at the end. Dr. G herself is also kind and explains everything so that I can understand.
This was my first time here, and definitely my last. I spent an hour just waiting for my eye exam. Dr. Martin was great and explained everything to me well, but the rest of the staff was rude. They didn’t even seem to care to treat me like a person, I felt like just another patient. The worst part, however, was that I had to pay 50 just to get a copy of my prescription, even with insurance! I thought that was outrageous since I have never had to do that before. When I voiced my concern, the staff members showed no care and completely dismissed me. I wasn’t the only person there at the time that had a complaint either. The lady paying before me was very upset that she had to pay 300 for contacts through her insurance, and said she had never had to pay that much before, but they also dismissed her and didn’t bother to work with her. Their prices are crazy, even with insurance. I work as a nurse, and would never treat any of my patients the way I was treated here. Hope this helps others.
They charged us 50 for just writing a prescription even with our insurance covering it other places. Even though our appointment was at 10, we didn’t get seen till at least 11:15. The staff didn’t even seem to care about anything...they were even kinda rude. Although the doctor was so awesome. Will be looking elsewhere for an eye doctor. Because I don’t want to have to go through this experience again.
Excellence in eye care. Dr. Joseph Martin, of EyeMax EyeCare, has created a professional, clean, warm and inviting office and has assembled and retained a friendly, attentive and capable staff. I wear contact lenses but I have also purchased multiple eyeglass frames from them as well. They have a nice selection of frames and lenses. I’ve been wearing glasses for over 30 years and I take my eye health and vision correction very seriously. I’ve been to many optometrists over the course of those 30 years and since finding Dr. Martin 15 years ago I won’t trust anyone else with my eye health. I look forward to seeing Dr. Martin and his staff every year, and each visit is a great experience for me. I’d like to personally thank Dr. Martin and his staff for their continued professionalism & enthusiasm regarding the care of my eyes. It means a lot to me. Thank you all very much! Sincerely, Ken.
