Tried to return something and was told they don't do returns without receipts. After not being able to find the receipt I checked their return policy online to give out they do take returns without a receipt. After returning to the store I was then told by the same lady that all returns max out so my 220 jacket would only give me 35 store credit. I asked her where there policy states that she says it's just the system so I'll have to come back with my receipt. I asked her to run it anyways because I wanted to see and it rang up for 110. This type of behavior is incredibly unprofessional and deceiving. This was arrive 3:30 Jan 19. I hope you guys talk to her about this. I don't think I'll ever come back but maybe you guys can stop this behavior before it puts you out of business

This location has done a 180 turn for the better! 90% of the sales girls from the last few years have been replaced and it is so much fun to shop here now. The stylists are fun, attentive and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to find me the perfect things for my body type and personal style. It felt like shopping with friends.

Today was my first time to the mall since the pandemic started and so I was a bit nervous about what it was going to be like and what safety protocols would be in place etc. I am pleased to report that not only was the WHBM store in pristine condition, but also the staff members were such a delight. Both Lauren and Kate were extremely helpful and personable.

This was my first time shopping at White House Black Market, Lauren the manger went above and beyond to help me find some good work clothes. She spent about an hour helping me, grabbing different sizes, finding things that she thought would look good on my body type, taking back the things that didn’t work... I ended up finding a lot of great things! Thanks Lauren

The employees here are the best. I bought a very nice jacket at an amazing discount. The compliments and kindness felt very genuine and I didn't feel pressure to spend money that I didn't want to spend.

I've been missing Chico's so I decided to give this store a shot. I found a few nice things on clearance but they didn't fit. I let myself into the dressing room. There were three people working and not doing much. They didn't even greet me or speak to me the entire time. There are better places to shop.

I agree with all the other 1 star reviews (on Yelp). If I could give this store a zero, I would. I was shopping on New Year's Eve to get not only something for that night but also a new wardrobe for work. No one could even be bothered to look in my direction. One associate preferred to straighten racks and the other was leaning her elbows on the cash wrap talking on the phone. Really unbelievable in this day and age considering the state of retail today. If I were WHBM, I would fire everyone in this location!!

I would give this store zero stars if I could. I had a horrible experience with Amy, one of the sales associates. I tried to return shoes I had just purchased, not knowing of the return policy, and she very loudly told me I was attempting the equivalent of returning dirty underwear. After going back and forth, I told her that although I love the store I likely would not return and would purchase my work clothing elsewhere. Instead of apologizing or saying she appreciates my business or anything else, Amy simply said "*That's your prerogative.*" I was shocked that anyone in customer service could possibly be this insulting. "That's your prerogative" is the same as saying "F*** off." I said "excuse me?" hoping that I had misheard her and she repeated very slowly as though my brain was too small to understand "THAT'S...YOUR....PREROGATIVE." Worst customer service experience ever. This was my first and last time going to the Murray store. I have gone to City Creek on numerous occasions and have always experienced great customer service at that location.
